London police located a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff noticed the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had any food or water while shivering. It withstood the traumatic ordeal. Animal advocates called it an criminal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers found a newly described monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a standard survey in the Congo Basin.
