Chase Elliott smashed into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He finished in 26th place. The vehicle sustained a hard impact but Elliott said the damage stayed minor. Afterwards, Alex Bowman revealed he will leave the sport after 2027. Bowman’s exit creates a seat that may be filled by Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott solely mentioned Bowman following his own crash, while steering clear of driver reshuffle topics.
